Last Updated: 16 March 2026. This Seller Listing Policy sets out the rules and standards that apply to users who publish listings on the Onboard Space platform (the “Platform”). These rules help maintain a trustworthy platform for buyers and sellers of boats and marine equipment. All users who create listings on the Platform (“Advertisers” or “Sellers”) must comply with this policy. Failure to comply may result in the removal of listings, suspension of accounts, or other enforcement actions by Onboard Space.
Onboard Space is an online platform designed to connect individuals and businesses interested in buying or selling boats and marine-related equipment. The Platform allows sellers to publish listings and buyers to contact sellers directly. Onboard Space only provides the technical platform and does not act as a broker, dealer, or intermediary in transactions between users.
To publish listings on the Platform (Sell Your Boat section), users must: be at least 18 years old; have the legal right to sell the listed item; provide accurate contact information; comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Sellers may be individuals or businesses.
Listings on the Platform must relate to: boats and yachts; sailboats and motorboats; personal watercraft; boat engines and marine equipment; boat accessories and related products. Listings unrelated to boating or marine equipment are not permitted.
All listings must be truthful, accurate, and complete. Sellers must clearly describe: manufacturer and model; year of manufacture; condition of the boat or product; technical specifications; known defects or damage; location of the boat; total price and applicable taxes (if applicable). Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.
Images used in listings must show the actual boat or item being sold, accurately represent the current condition, not be misleading or edited to hide defects, and not include unrelated content such as advertisements or logos. Images taken from manufacturers or other websites may only be used if the seller has the legal right to use them.
If a price is included in the listing, it must represent the actual total price of the product, include mandatory charges where applicable, and clearly indicate if taxes such as VAT are included. Artificial pricing or misleading price structures are not allowed.
Sellers must not publish multiple listings for the same boat or item in different categories or locations unless specifically permitted. Duplicate listings may be removed by Onboard Space.
Sellers are responsible for keeping their listings accurate and up to date. If the boat or product has been sold, is no longer available, or has materially changed, the listing must be updated or removed immediately. Listings marked as “sold” may be removed by Onboard Space to maintain platform accuracy.
The following types of listings are not permitted on the Platform: listings for illegal goods or services; stolen boats or equipment; fraudulent listings; listings intended solely to generate leads without an actual product for sale; listings containing harmful scripts or malicious code; listings that violate intellectual property rights. Onboard Space reserves the right to remove prohibited listings immediately.
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, ensuring they have the right to sell the advertised item, complying with applicable consumer protection laws, and responding to buyer inquiries honestly and promptly. Onboard Space does not verify the accuracy of listings and cannot guarantee the legitimacy of sellers.
Onboard Space may promote listings through partner websites, marketing campaigns, search engine advertising, and social media promotion. By publishing a listing, sellers grant Onboard Space the right to display and promote the listing for marketing purposes during the listing period.
Listings may remain active for a defined period depending on the service package purchased by the seller. Common listing durations may include 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc. Listings may expire automatically after the applicable period.
Onboard Space reserves the right to take appropriate action if this policy is violated. Actions may include removing or editing listings, temporarily suspending accounts, permanently terminating access to the Platform, and reporting illegal activity to authorities where required. These actions may be taken without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
Sellers are solely responsible for the content of their listings and for any transactions with buyers. Onboard Space is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the completion of transactions, or disputes between buyers and sellers. Users are encouraged to exercise caution and perform appropriate checks before completing transactions.
Onboard Space may update this Seller Listing Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on the Platform along with the updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
